Abstract

Héctor Gallo es Psicoanalista, Sociólogo de la Universidad Autónoma Latinoamericana. DSU y DEA en Psicoanálisis de la Universidad París VIII. PhD. en Psicoanálisis de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Profesor del Departamento de Psicoanálisis de la Universidad de Antioquia. Miembro de la Nueva Escuela Lacaniana (NEL) de Medellín y de la Asociación Mundial de Psicoanálisis (AMP). Entre sus publicaciones se encuentran: Usos y abusos del maltrato; Maltrato infantil: teoría y clínica psicoanalítica; El sujeto criminal: una aproximación al crimen como objeto social, entre muchas otras. Recibió el premio de la Alcaldía de Medellín a la investigación con mayor impacto social en el año 2007 por su trabajo “Dinámicas de guerra e iniciativas de paz en la Comuna 13 de Medellín”. Así, cuenta con una amplia trayectoria clínica e importantes aportes teóricos al psicoanálisis, a las ciencias sociales y a la sociedad en general.
