Abstract

Esta investigación presenta la revisión de la literatura sobre el concepto de economía informal, así como aportes hechos por autores que han realizado críticas teóricas referentes ha dicho concepto. En esta revisión se muestran los diferentes aportes que se han realizado desde 1970 - 2015. Adicionalmente, proporciona un apartado referente al trabajo informal de mujeres. La importancia de todo lo anterior se delimita a la necesidad de conocer los aportes académicos referentes a los temas anteriormente mencionados, para así proporcionar lineamientos teóricos útiles en trabajos de investigación concernientes al mercado de trabajo informal en Colombia con alcance a Latinoamérica.
