Towards the concept of science diplomacy, the different approaches to it are broken down, as well as the actions led by the countries to advance national, cross-border and global interests; The article also identified the actors of science diplomacy and their roles. Opportunities were expressed for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, as well as the importance of South-South Cooperation in this process. It is noted that although there are successful initiatives, there are still many challenges especially in the face of financing the implementation of the SDGs, their monitoring and measurement of indicators.
